The Arab European Center for Human Rights and International Law has announced the accreditation of young entrepreneur Ahmed Abdel-Tawab as its Permanent Representative to the United Nations Headquarters in New York. This follows the issuance of official approval by the United Nations, based on the Centerโs nomination and in accordance with the UNโs formal procedures for accrediting international representatives. The appointment comes within the framework of strengthening the Centerโs presence in international forums and expanding its engagement in advancing sustainable development and multilateral cooperation.
Ahmed Abdel-Tawab is regarded as a prominent entrepreneur and emerging youth leader in the field of development support. Through his initiatives and activities, he has contributed to advancing economic and social development projects, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, in alignment with the global Sustainable Development Goals. He has also actively participated in a number of United Nations events, particularly those focused on industrial development.
Under this accreditation, Abdel-Tawab will represent the Arab European Center in various international events and meetings, including activities of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), participation in high-level conferences on sustainable development, as well as specialized international forums on financing for development. He will also attend sessions of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Center emphasized that this step is part of a strategic vision aimed at enhancing its advisory and international role, strengthening its contributions to the global development agenda, and building effective partnerships with international stakeholders in support of development-related causes.
