The Arab-European Center for Human Rights and International Law has awarded Egyptian entrepreneur Ashraf El-Tawil the title of “Ambassador of Peace and Goodwill,” in recognition of his distinguished business career, community initiatives, and contributions to corporate social responsibility and youth entrepreneurship in Egypt.
El-Tawil serves as Chairman of SAF Company and heads the Sharaf Group, which operates in the insurance and real estate investment sectors.
Recognition of Impact and Leadership
The honor forms part of the Center’s broader mission to recognize influential figures who demonstrate positive contributions to development, humanitarian work, and community engagement. El-Tawil’s selection reflects a track record that combines business success with meaningful social impact.
According to the Center, the award acknowledges his achievements in entrepreneurship and investment, as well as his ongoing support for initiatives that empower young people, promote innovation, and encourage civic participation.

The award ceremony was attended by senior representatives of the Center, including

They emphasized that granting the title reflects appreciation for El-Tawil’s positive contributions and serves to highlight role models capable of creating tangible social impact.

- Magdy Nabil, CEO of Fin-Serv Financial Solutions and former Head of Trading Market Supervision at Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority
- Shaimaa Rashid, journalist at Cairo News Channel

Promoting Youth and Social Responsibility
Speakers at the event highlighted the growing role of Egyptian youth in leading successful ventures and launching impactful initiatives. They stressed the importance of strengthening a culture of social responsibility and supporting entrepreneurs who combine innovation with community engagement.
El-Tawil’s Response
In his remarks, El-Tawil expressed pride in receiving the distinction, describing it as both an honor and a responsibility.
“I extend my sincere gratitude to the Arab-European Center for Human Rights and International Law for this recognition, which I deeply value. I consider it a responsibility to continue working toward serving the community and promoting the values of peace and cooperation. True success is not measured solely by professional achievements, but by the ability to make a positive difference in the lives of others.”
He added that entrepreneurship goes beyond economic success, encompassing a broader role in supporting development initiatives, creating opportunities for young people, and reinforcing social responsibility.
