The Norwegian Council for Tolerance and Peace honored media personality Tariq Allam with a large ceremony at the Police Union Sports Club in Cairo, and he received the Ambassador of Tolerance and Peace Award presented by the Norwegian Council for Tolerance and Peace, in recognition of his honorable media career in the field of humanitarian work.
The Council President delegated the ambassadors of the Councilโs representatives in Egypt to honor him. The Council delegation was headed by Dr. Ahmed Ghazi, the regional representative, journalist Shaima Rashid, the media advisor, engineer Mohsen Matta, media expert Nasser Al-Shami, and advisor Ahmed Al-Zanati, members of the Council.
The celebration was held in the presence of Muhammad Ismail Abdo, the sponsor of the party, and a group of company owners, senior radio and television workers, and media professionals, and in the presence of a number of people of determination and representatives of shelter homes, amid a distinguished festive atmosphere.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Ghazi, the regional representative, praised the humanitarian and social role of โAllamโ over the course of more than thirty years, stressing that he is one of the distinguished media figures who pursued humanitarian work, and chose to make his message in his lifeโs journey giving, doing good, and spreading the values of tolerance and peace.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Council delegation presented a golden necklace shield to the sponsor of the ceremony, Muhammad Ismail Abdo, in appreciation of his efforts in supporting
Humanitarian and social work, and the journalist Tariq Allam handed it over to him
