The Norwegian ambassador to Amman, โSafir Stubb,โ said that the Norwegian newspapersโ publication of offensive pictures of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Islam was a big mistake, indicating that publishing these pictures created strong reactions among Muslims.
In a statement to Al-Dustour, the Norwegian ambassador denounced the publication of these pictures by Norwegian newspapers, pointing out that this action was carried out by people trying to distort the image of Norway before the Arab-Islamic countries, stressing that these pictures should not have been published or re-published.
