The Norwegian Council for Tolerance and Peace organized a visit to the Sultanate of Oman in cooperation with the Arab-European Center for Human Rights and International Law. During the visit, representatives of the Council met with His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Khalfan Al Ghufaili and presented him with the Tolerance Ambassadors Shield in appreciation of his strenuous efforts in promoting societal and humanitarian values โโin the Sultanate of Oman.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Adel Hameed, Secretary-General, and Dr. Marwa Al-Saidi, Deputy Secretary-General, who, for their part, praised the pioneering role played by the Sultanate of Oman in the region in order to promote peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.
