The Councilโs future vision stems from a firm conviction that achieving international peace at the present time depends primarily on the ability of the international community and various official and unofficial bodies to spread a culture of tolerance among peoples, as most of the conflicts that the world is witnessing today have arisen due to extremism and religious, ethnic, and sectarian intolerance.
This was the speech of the President of the Norwegian Council of Trade during his meetings with ambassadors and representatives of international governmental and non-governmental organizations at the headquarters of the World Trade Organization in Geneva.
